Creating quietly.

Brenner Lowe is an Australian author, illustrator and collage artist creating illustrated storybooks for adults. Through richly illustrated storytelling, her work explores emotional healing, psychological growth, self-discovery, grief, resilience and the quiet transformations of the inner landscape.

As an author.

Brenner Lowe is an author and illustrator, living on the Tablelands of Far North Queensland, Australia, with her husband and daughter, a cattle dog named after a famous fairy, and a thriving tropical vegetable patch tended by six plump hens.

As an introspective thinker and a quiet observer, Brenner recognises the power and beauty of vulnerability, and the courage of those who possess it. With an almost intuitive understanding of the human heart, Brenner translates these profound insights into stories that are both captivating and hauntingly moving.

The Fruit of Dragons is Brenner's debut picture book for adults. She invites readers to explore the intricate landscapes of their fears and curiosities, and to ignite the power of their dreams.

As an illustrator.

Welcome to my portfolio—a collection of emotive, nature-inspired artworks created through mixed media, such as acrylic paint and collage. Each piece explores the beauty, vulnerability, and interconnectedness of the natural world, inviting moments of reflection, wonder, and emotional connection.

A person standing under a large tree with two white cockatoos perched on the branches and one on the ground below amidst green plants.
A collage art piece of a pink tree with rounded leafy branches on a blue and teal background, with a landscape of sand-colored hills at the base.
Digital illustration of an elderly woman with gray hair, wearing large red glasses and a green sweater, against a pink background.
A scenic landscape of a cloudy sky over a distant sea, with a grassy foreground and laundry hanging on a clothesline, including a black pair of shorts, green checkered shirts, and a yellow striped garment. A small bird perches on the black shorts.
A paper cutout of a woman wearing snorkeling gear, swimming in water.
Drawing of a small storefront with a green awning and purple signs for Cadbury milk chocolate, various advertisements, and an open sign. A woman is sitting on the sidewalk holding a potted plant, with small plants next to her. There are various signs, including a fridge with ice cream, a milk bar sign, and a lottery sign. The scene has a cozy, small-town vibe.

As a reclaimer.

There is something deeply satisfying about giving forgotten materials a second life. Guided by curiosity and a love of making, I transform reclaimed and recycled treasures into thoughtful, handcrafted pieces—each with its own character, history, and charm. Some find their way into my online store, ready to begin a new chapter in someone else's hands and home.

A collage of a black bird with an orange beak and a pinkish worm on a white paper, placed on a brown piece of paper, on a wooden surface.
Empty woven basket surrounded by wilted green leaves on a tiled floor.
Canvas with a stitched pink bird with a blue beak and dark eye, on a textured light-colored background.
Three small, colorful ceramic houses arranged on a white surface with a wicker basket in the background.

Welcome to the quiet space.
